SEATTLE -- Bald Faced Lie, Seattle's zany purveyor of original sketch comedy resumes its late night slot at Theatre Schmeater Fri. Mar. 13, performing Fri. and Sat. evenings at 11 PM through Apr. 4.

BFL cast members Ian Bell, Peggy Gannon, David Gehrman, Karen Gruber, Basil Harris, Tina Kunz, Cory Nealy, and Alfredo Tryferis promise the return ofsuch favorite pieces as "The Still-Life Dancers" and "Bazooka Joe's Comics Classics Theatre," as well as bright new sketches.

The company was formed in 1995 at the late and greatly missed AHA! Theatre and has won critical raves such as "Clever and amusing" (Seattle Post-Intellligencer), "Sophisticated goofiness" (Seattle Weekly) and "Smart, silly and subversive" (The Stranger).

BFL performances (after Theatre Schmeater's production of The Cherry Orchard) are at the Theatre Schmeater, 1500 Summit Ave, between Pike and Pine on Capitol Hill. Box office opens at 10 PM, and all seats are $6, available only at the door.
