The solo play, acclaimed by critics when it premiered Off-Broadway in 2013, centers on an out-of-work actor who winds up finding a job working in Barbra Streisand's basement. The role was originated Off-Broadway by Michael Urie.

David Pierini directs the production that runs April 7-May 9 in Sacramento, CA.

Here's how it's billed: "Alex More has a story to tell. A struggling actor in L.A., he takes a job working in the Malibu basement of a beloved megastar, Barbra Streisand. One day, the Lady Herself comes downstairs to play. It feels like real bonding in the basement, but will their relationship ever make it upstairs? Buyer & Cellar is an outrageous comedy about the price of fame, the cost of things, and the oddest of odd jobs."

Plans are also underway for Cearley to repeat his performance in the play at additional regional theatres later this year. His credits also include PageantAll Shook Up, Next to Normal, ...And Then I Wrote a Song About It and The Rocky Horror Show. He is also slated to star as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream Off-Broadway at Masterworks Classic Theatre Company.
