News "Smash" Ratings Dip, But NBC Wins the Night The second episode of the acclaimed theatre-inspired TV series "Smash," which aired Feb. 13, drew 8.1 million viewers, according to Variety.

The premiere episode was seen by 11.5 million viewers.

For those who follow ratings points, "Smash" earned a 2.8/7 adults 18-49 rating, leading its hour among young adults. The first episode of the series created by Broadway playwright Theresa Rebeck earned a 3.8 adults 18-49 rating (representing a 4.2 adults 18-49 rating in its first half hour, dropping to 3.4 in its second half hour).

NBC, which also aired a two-hour "The Voice," drawing 16.1 million viewers overall, won the night in all key categories, according to Variety.
