"The Music of Smash: Sheet Music Collection," the first officially licensed collection of sheet music from the NBC musical drama "Smash," has been released by Alfred Music Publishing.

The collection, featuring tunes composed by Tony Award winners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Catch Me If You Can), is arranged for piano, voice and guitar. The collectible songbook also includes color photos from the show. "The Music of Smash" features sheet music to every song on the first season's "The Music of Smash" album plus the bonus selection "Never Give All the Heart." Song titles include "Touch Me," "Stand," "Who You Are," "Crazy Dreams," "Beautiful," "Haven't Met You Yet," "Shake It Out," "Brighter Than the Sun," "Let Me Be Your Star," "20th Century Fox Mambo," "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," "Let's Be Bad" and "History Is Made at Night."

As previously reported, Josh Safran succeeds Theresa Rebeck (Seminar) as showrunner — the person in charge of all aspects of the story — for the upcoming second season, which will feature the additions of Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson ("Dreamgirls"), Tony Award nominees Jeremy Jordan (Newsies) and Sean Hayes (Promises, Promises) and Andy Mientus (Carrie), among others.
