Conducted by Scott O'Neil, the concert will begin at 7:30 PM and also feature vocalist Sydney Brooke Fisher.
Here's how Shuffle is described: "Diverse music by composers ranging from Björk to Bach and Pat Metheny to Prokofiev come together in the Colorado Symphony's upcoming Shuffle, an Inside the Score series concert. Shuffle sets out to prove that musical genres aren't as different as we imagine. Resident conductor Scott O'Neil – embracing the reality that people like to 'shuffle' between genres – ties together musical styles in one unforgettable evening that glides from Baroque to Jazz and from Broadway to Indie music and beyond."
Shuffle will also include new orchestrations by O'Neil of Björk's "New World" and the "Overture" to "Dancer in the Dark" (from the soundtrack to the film directed by Lars von Trier). Also featured on the program is a new orchestration of Seal's "Get it Together."
