The world premiere of Barbara Lindsay's Snapshots is scheduled for Jan. 19 at El Portal's Circle Theatre. The grab-bag of short pieces is directed by Jim Brochu (El Portal's new artistic director), Tony Edwards, Henry LeBlanc, Joe J. Garcia and Christine Mangone. Snapshots is the opening production of Circle Theatre's 2001 season.Lindsay takes the audience from the high desert to the lower depths in this wide-ranging take on relationships, love, marriage, hope, despair and triumph. A cast of eleven portrays an ensemble of neurotics, psychotics and just plain folk as they discover truths about each other and themselves.
