The new North American touring production of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage is set to kick off at the Harris Center in Folsom, California, October 5 with a brand-new cast and director. Sunday in the Park with George director Sarna Lapine will helm the new version, which will visit more than 50 cities in the United States.
Leading a company of 24 will be Aaron Patrick Craven as Johnny Castle and Kaleigh Courts as Francis “Baby” Houseman. As in the celebrated film, the story of Dirty Dancing follows the love story between Johnny and Baby during a summer at a Catskills resort in 1963.
