Soap Stars Cast in Bouncers at London's Richmond Theatre

News   Soap Stars Cast in Bouncers at London's Richmond Theatre
John Godber's comedy, Bouncers, will be staged at the Richmond Theatre.

Two of the bad boys of the nation's favorite soap operas will star in the production of Bouncers at Richmond Theatre, which runs Aug. 4-9.

John Altman is best-known for playing the devious Nick Cotton in "Eastenders," and Nigel Pivaro for playing Terry Duckworth in "Coronation Street." They team up with a small but punchy cast who play over 40 parts, re-creating a typical weekend in a nightclub.

Bouncers are now an everyday feature of pubs and nightclubs, and John Godber, one of the most frequently-performed playwrights working today, has created a comic classic that has been playing for many years and was chosen by the National Theatre as one of the top 100 plays of the twentieth century.
