Two of the bad boys of the nation's favorite soap operas will star in the production of Bouncers at Richmond Theatre, which runs Aug. 4-9.
John Altman is best-known for playing the devious Nick Cotton in "Eastenders," and Nigel Pivaro for playing Terry Duckworth in "Coronation Street." They team up with a small but punchy cast who play over 40 parts, re-creating a typical weekend in a nightclub.
Bouncers are now an everyday feature of pubs and nightclubs, and John Godber, one of the most frequently-performed playwrights working today, has created a comic classic that has been playing for many years and was chosen by the National Theatre as one of the top 100 plays of the twentieth century.
