Soho Rep's annual "Summer Camp" series of hot-weather ten-minute plays and workshops will wrap up its workshop production of Anne Washburn's The Communist Dracula Pageant on July 28, after a four- performance fun. Washburn comic drama focuses on the Rumanian Revolution of 1989, when the corrupt Communistic government was toppled by the people. Washburn describes her play, however, as "by Americans, for Americans." The surreal, experimental work was developed in Soho Rep's 1999-2000 playwrights-directors lab.

Summer Camp will continue Aug. 9-12 with True and Solid Ground by Jim Knable, directed by Rosemary Andress. In the play, "fighter pilot Kim and his estranged wife Lin, ex-torturer General Choo, and Lulu (formerly the Queen of Egypt) are making up the rules as they go along in the new country of True and Solid Ground." Tickets at $8. All performances at 7:30 PM at Soho Rep, 46 Walker Street in Manhattan. Call (212) 479-7979.
