The lyrical family drama began performances Feb. 6 and will run through Feb. 28 under the direction of Juliette Carillo. Beatriz stars in the title role of the Texas-set work, which also features Carlo Albán, Christian Barillas, Armando Durán, Catalina Maynard, Onahoua Rodriguez and Tony Sancho.

"The Flores family welcomes Lydia, an undocumented maid, into their El Paso home to care for their daughter Ceci, who was tragically disabled in a car accident on the eve of her quinceañera, her fifteenth birthday. Lydia's immediate and seemingly miraculous bond with the girl sets the entire family on a mysterious and shocking journey of discovery. Lydia is an unflinching and deeply emotional portrait of a Mexican immigrant family caught in a web of dark secrets," read Yale press notes.

The Yale production has original music by the late Chris Webb, sets by Andrew Boyce, costumes by Amanda Seymour, lighting by Jesse Belsky, fight direction by Rick Sordelet, with sound design, additional music and arrangements by David Molina.

Tickets are available by visiting www.yalerep.org, by calling (203) 432-1234 or by visiting the Yale Rep box office (1120 Chapel Street).
