News Some Public Seats Will Be Available for Schoenfeld Memorial As previously announced, a memorial will be held this month in honor of late Shubert Organization Chairman Gerald Schoenfeld, who died Nov. 25, 2008, at his home in Manhattan.

The Feb. 9 memorial is scheduled to begin at 1 PM at the Majestic Theatre, the current home of Broadway's longest-running musical, The Phantom of the Opera. Major names in the Broadway community are expected to be part of the afternoon.

It was announced Feb. 3 that a limited number of seats will be available to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis Feb. 9 at the Majestic.

The Majestic Theatre is located at 247 West 44th Street.
