News Something Rotten Shows Its "Bottom" on "The View" June 5 The Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical Something Rotten! will perform on the talk show "The View" June 5.

Set in the Shakespearean era, the musical comedy about Nick Bottom, the man who supposedly invented musical comedy, will perform the number "Bottom’s Gonna Be on Top" for the hosts of the nationally syndicated talk show. Included will be performances by Tony Award nominees Brian d’Arcy James and Christian Borle, along with the rest of the cast who are up for a collective 10 awards at the June 7 Tony ceremony.

"The View" can be seen 11 AM to noon in the New York area. Check local listings elsewhere.
