April 22 at 12:30 PM – Sixth Annual Shakespeare’s Birthday Sonnet Slam
The Sixth Annual Shakespeare’s Birthday Sonnet Slam will be held at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park, beginning at 12:30 PM with a performance by Something Rotten! cast member Eric Sciotto. Starting at 1 PM, the Sonnet Slam will feature 154 readers of all ages performing all 154 of Shakespeare’s Sonnets in numerical order. April 22 from 6-6:30 PM – Special In-Person $15.95 Ticket Lottery
A special ticket lottery will be held in person at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street), where a limited number of $15.95 tickets to that evening’s 8 PM performance will be sold to winners of the drawing. Tickets are limited to two per person. Entries will be accepted beginning at 6 PM, with winners to be drawn at 6:30 PM by a special birthday guest. The show’s regular digital lottery and rush ticket policies will be suspended for Friday’s performance only.

Something Rotten! has music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick. The latter collaborated on the musical's book with John O'Farrell.
