Wopat will play the famed jazz venue at 7 PM. There is a $25 charge for side seating and a $35 charge for center seating.
The concert is a celebration of Wopat's newest recording, "Consider It Swung." Expect to hear the singing actor's renditions of "That's Life," "But Not For Me," "42nd Street" and "Fifty Checks"; the latter is from the new Marc Shaiman-Scott Wittman musical Catch Me If You Can. The musical director is Tedd Firth, with arrangements by David Finck.
Tom Wopat received Tony nominations for his performances in A Catered Affair and in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun (opposite Bernadette Peters). He has also appeared on Broadway in I Love My Wife, City of Angels, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, 42nd Street and Glengarry Glen Ross. Perhaps best known for his seven-season run on "The Dukes of Hazzard," Wopat has released several albums with CBS and Capitol Records. His latest CDs are "Dissertation on the State of Bliss" and "Consider It Swung."
