Broadway Records will release the studio cast album of the pop musical Like You Like It, which takes Shakespeare’s classic As You Like It and resets it in a shopping mall in the 1980s. The musical, which has been seen at NYMF and at Brooklyn’s Gallery Players, has music by Daniel S. Acquisto and words by Sammy Buck.

The album will be available in stores and for digital download September 23. It can be pre-ordered at BroadwayRecords.com.

In addition to Margherita, the album features Alison Luff, Derek Klena, Patti Murin, Robin De Jesús, Nick Cearley, Bonnie Milligan, Kate Rockwell and Sam Underwood with a special bonus track of a song cut from the show, performed by Laura Osnes and her husband, Nathan Johnson.

The ensemble includes Elisabeth Ness, Chandler Reeves, Aaron Riesebeck, Emily Rogers and Patrick Shelton. Also featured are students from the Broadway Workshop, the NewArts/Newtown Musicals and Kidz Theater alongside Hillary Fisher, Michael Nigro, Joshua Spencer and Lexi Tobin in a special song written for the Like You Like It High School Edition.
