News Songwriter Jonathan Reid Gealt Will Release New Album "Whatever I Want It To Be" Songwriter Jonathan Reid Gealt will release a third studio album entitled "Whatever I Want It To Be."

Gealt is raising funds for the project through a Kickstarter campaign here. According to his Kickstarter, "'Whatever I Want It To Be' is a passion project for me in its truest form. It marks my third studio album as a composer and is a collection of songs I've written that span the gamut of musical styles with a wide variety of influences. From big band to jazz, blues to soul, pop to contemporary musical theater to Motown and beyond. It's truly going to be an album of whatever I want it to be for whatever the song feels it calls for. What other kind of project could any artist wish to create. It would be a dream come true."

Gealt's debut album "Thirteen Stories Down" was released in 2011 on Sh-k-Boom/Ghostlight Records. His second album was entitled "Here For You – Ballads for Broadway Impact," and a portion of all sales benefited Broadway Impact. Gealt is currently adapting Lyndsay Faye's novel "Dust and Shadow," among other projects.
