Tammy Hensrud sings a June 22 evening dubbed From Chanson to Cabaret as the fourth attraction for the White Barn Theatre's summer slate at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in Greenwich Village.

Hensrud, the acclaimed soprano, will perform her new show of musical confections from Debussy and Offenbach to Bolcom and Barab to Flanders and Swann.

She will be joined by pianist Walter Winterfeldt. Hensrud has appeared in opera houses throughout Europe and the United States, including the Vienna State Opera, Stuttgart Opera, Theatre de Chatelet in Paris, Klagenfurt Stadttheater, the Salzburg Summer and Easter Festivals, the Metropolitan Opera, Cleveland Opera, Opera Orchestra of New York, and Liederkranz Opera.

"Following a successful career with more than 35 roles in the mezzo soprano repertoire to her credit, Hensrud has embarked on what promises to become an equally successful career as a performer of such challenging and diverse dramatic soprano roles as Amelia, Marie, Senta, Chrysothemis, La Gioconda, Annina, and Vanessa along with such roles as Donna Elvira, Tosca and Lisa," according to the Lortel announcement.

The Lucille Lortel Theatre is at 121 Christopher Street. The summer season is produced, by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Foundation, by Vincent Curcio and artistic supervisor Donald Saddler, with Dr. Mary C. Henderson on the artistic advisory board.
