News S.O.S.: Candice Guardin Will Play The Laurie Beechman Candice Guardin will return to The Laurie Beechman May 2 at 9:30 PM with her solo show, which is titled S.O.S.

Guardin's evening, according to press notes, "delves into the life of the spunky native New Yorker who grew up in Staten Island...[taking] the audience on an unforgettable journey through her unpredictable life. From hilarious and heartfelt familial impressions to takes from getting her first period to offering hilarious and entertaining re-mixes of a few classic tunes, nothing is off limits in S.O.S." S.O.S. features direction by Benjamin Shaw and musical direction by David Dabbon. Kimberly Vaughn is the dramaturg.

Guardin has taken part in New York Musical Theatre Festivals and has appeared in productions of Gypsy, West Side Story and A Chorus Line as well as on "Law & Order" and "Guiding Light."
