In Soul of the Intruder, Mabel Codd, a single woman, finds herself suddenly confronted with two ex-lovers from her past: Jack Amsterdam, the first man she ever loved, and Eddie Dixon. Both men, however, insist the other is dead or an imposter. It is up to Mabel to figure out the truth before her world collapses into lies, obsession and murder. An early version of the play was workshopped in 1995 at the Miranda Theatre.

The three person cast features Stephen Beach (The Sunshine Boys), Cliff Diamond (The Remarkable Thing About Stardust) and Sylvia Kelegian (War at Ensemble Studio Theatre's Marathon '99).

Designing The Soul of the Intruder are Ed McCarthy (lighting), Art Fassbender (sound) and Chas W. Roeder (sets and costumes).

Tickets are $30 (previews are $20). Theatre 3 is located at 311 West 43rd Street. For reservations, call (212) 279-4200. -- By Christine Ehren
