Wearing his impresario's hat, Andrew Lloyd Webber has said that he still intends to bring a revival of The Sound of Music into the West End - the trouble is that there isn't an available theatre at the moment.
This news comes after Camden Council's recent suggestion to the management of the Shaftesbury Theatre that it find a new home for Umoja within a week.
Fortunately for Lloyd Webber, his smaller-scale revival of Daisy Pulls It Off, a pastiche of the sort of Edwardian schoolgirl adventures churned out by the yard by writers like Angela Brazil, has already got a home earmarked for it in April - the Lyric, Shaftesbury Avenue.
