South African dance show Umoja is set to make a triumphant return when its producer brings the show back to the West End at the Queen's Theatre beginning June 4.
The show, which was a hit at the Shaftesbury Theatre, was forced to close when that theatre was presented with a Noise Abatement order by Camden Council, a decision that is currently the subject of legal action by the Shaftesbury, which was strongly backed in its clash with Camden by Chief Executive of SOLT, Richard Pulford.
Umoja is a very energetic and enjoyable evening of South African dance and song, and will replace another South Africa hit, The Mysteries, which is currently playing at the Queen's and is due to close on May 18.
