COSTA MESA, CA -- Nov. 28 marks South Coast Rep's 19th annual production of Dickens' A Christmas Carol, which will run through Dec. 27.

Adapted by SCR dramaturg Jerry Patch, the show is directed by John David-Keller and stars Hal Landon, Jr. as Ebenezer Scrooge. Other cast members include Richard Boyle, Susanah Schulman, Howard Shangraw, Richard Soto, Hisa Takakuwa, David Whalen, Elena Fasan, Jason Low, Benton Jennings Melbourne and Jared Slater.

On Dec. 5 at 12.30 PM, the SCR will hold its 5th annual A Dickens of a Day Celebration. The director and cast members from A Christmas Carol will meet theatregoers in the Westin South Coast Plaza for a holiday party. After a buffet luncheon, carolers will lead a procession to the theatre for the 2.30 PM matinee performance of the play.
