Every Oscar night is starry, but not every one is as theatrical as March 24's broadcast promises to be. Five recent and future Broadway stars are set to hand out Academy Awards — Kevin Spacey, Ian McKellen, Nathan Lane, Hugh Jackman and Maggie Smith. Only Spacey and Lane are presenting vets — Spacey, who most recently performed on Broadway in The Iceman Cometh, has presented at four Oscars (and won two awards himself). Lane, who just completed his Tony-winning run in The Producers, presented back in 1996.

Whoopi Goldberg, 2002's Oscar hostess, is also a Broadway vet, having replaced Lane in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. She is currently producing Thoroughly Modern Millie on Broadway.

ABC broadcasts the Oscars beginning at 8 PM EST. Check local listings for times and channels.
