A special performance of Dirty Blonde, which will benefit the Actors' Fund, takes place at The Helen Hayes Theatre on Sun., Sept. 24 at 7:30 PM. Starring Claudia Shear, Dirty Blonde involves two single New Yorkers who meet at Mae West's grave site. The story tracks the couple's changing relationship while simultaneously tracking West's career.

According to long tradition, every Broadway show (in New York and on the road) adds a special performance to its regular schedule once each year, as a benefit for The Actors' Fund. Production notes indicate that "the excitement of these performances often surpasses that of an opening night, as casts from other productions have the opportunity to see the show on their night off, and performers in the show get the opportunity to play for an audience full of their peers and celebrities from the entertainment industry." Each company donates their time and talent, and all proceeds go directly to The Actors' Fund.

All seats are $65. For tickets and other information please call (212) 221-7300 ext. 133/134 or visit www.actorsfund.org/tickets/index.html.
