News Spelling Bee Composer and Spring Awakening Star Lined Up for "Downstage Center" Spelling Bee composer William Finn and current Spring Awakening star Stephen Spinella will appear on upcoming broadcasts of XM Radio's "Downstage Center."

The American Theatre Wing and XM Satellite Radio will present the interviews with the actor and composer on the weekly theatrical interview show on XM's On Broadway (XM Channel 28). Finn will appear on the show Dec. 1 at 6 PM and Spinella on Dec. 8 — both shows repeat broadcasts Saturdays at noon, Sundays at 7 PM and Wednesdays at 12 AM (ET). Finn's works include the currently-running musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as well as the Tony-winning Falsettos and Elegies, Trousers, Romance in Hard Times and A New Brain.

Spinella earned a Tony Award for his Broadway debut in Angels in America: Millennium Approaches and Angels in America: Perestroika. Other credits include A View from the Bridge, Electra, James Joyce's The Dead on Broadway, Svejk Off-Broadway and the recent Los Angeles debut of Stuff Happens.

"Downstage Center" programs run on XM and are then made available for free as streaming audio and in podcast form on ATW's website at americantheatrewing.org.
