Follow the stage and film star—from AM to PM—as he gives us an inside glimpse into what it's like to be an actor in New York City.
When Matt Doyle opens the door to his Jersey City apartment, the feeling of warmth is palpable. Not from the sweltering, mid-July heat, but rather the kind of warmth you receive when seeing an old friend. As an actor, Doyle is used to getting up close and personal, something he’s doing a lot of in his current role as Anthony Hope in the Tooting Arts Club’s immersive production of Sweeney Todd at the Barrow Street theatre.
Doyle takes us through a typical Thursday—from his morning routine and personal projects, to his physical therapy and prepping for the show at night. The Off-Broadway revival of the Sondheim classic is scheduled through December 31, 2017.
