Ari'el Stachel is finding his reality while living a dream. The young actor, who recently made his Broadway debut in The Band’s Visit, has found his world flipped upside-down, moving from the audition grind to performing 8 times a week in the quiet new musical taking Broadway by storm. For many, it’s easy to get swept up in the glamorous newness of it all, but Stachel turns to building a life of discipline and structure to stay grounded. He is humble as describes his experience bring his character, the flirtations crooner Haled, to life. “You can’t really think about the fact that 1000+ people are watching you. That’s almost too much to fathom. I’m just focusing on the story.”

But a broad smile betrays his cool demeanor. “For me, there is a sense of wonder and excitement as much as their might be for an audience,” he gushes as reflects on his Broadway experience.

Stachel takes us through a typical Thursday – from his morning meditation to prepping for his show at night – giving us a glimpse at what it is like to be a star on the rise.
