Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark will resume preview performances at the Foxwoods Theatre May 12, after going on a three-week hiatus.

Playwright Roberto Aguirre Sacasa (a Marvel comics writer and an acclaimed dramatist), director Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz) and choreographer Chase Brock (City Center Encores! Lost in the Stars) have joined the production’s creative team to make major changes.

Injured actor Christopher Tierney is also back to the musical after taking a break to recover from his 30 feet fall during the Dec. 20, 2010, performance.

Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark stars Reeve Carney as Peter Parker, Jennifer Damiano as Mary Jane and T.V. Carpio as Arachne. Opening night is set for June 14, after the longest preview period in Broadway history.
