Local #1 IATSE was crowned 1996 Broadway Show Baseball League Champion on Thursday, August 29 after defeating The Shubert Organization in the best of three championship series. Kim Reinle of Local #1 was declared the 1996 Show League MVP. In the previous week's play, Cowgirls triumphed 9-8 over Show Boat to win the Consolation Tournament.
