The show itself, which originated with Deaf West Theatre, is performed in a combination of spoken English and ASL. The show will have its first Broadway preview Sept. 8.

"In the production’s spirit of accessibility," a statement reads, "every lottery drawing will be held in both spoken English and ASL thanks to support from the Sign Language Center."

Winners will be drawn 90 minutes before show time. There is a limit of two tickets per person; winners must be physically present to win; and tickets can be paid for with either cash or credit. Spring Awakening’s 18-week-only engagement will open Sept. 27. The show, which won the 2007 Tony Award as Best Musical, has book and lyrics by Steven Sater and music by Duncan Sheik, is directed by Michael Arden and choreographed by Spencer Liff.
