Zaken will succeed Hayley Podschun, who plays her final performance Feb. 2. She will join a cast that currently includes Andrew Cristi, Julia Bray, Xavier Cano, Kimiko Glenn Linda Gabler and Mykal Kilgore.
Zaken has appeared Off-Broadway in Captain Louie and Radiant Baby. National tours and regional appearances include Ragtime, Annie Warbucks, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and A Little Princess.
Freckleface Strawberry The Musical is based on the best-selling children’s book by actress Julianne Moore. The show features music and lyrics by Gary Kupper with book by Kupper and Rose Caiola. Direction is by Buddy Crutchfield with choreography by Gail Pennington Crutchfield.
