Based on true events in the lives of his ancestors, playwright Keith Josef Adkins tells a gripping and heart-wrenching story of love, freedom and survival against impossible odds."
Buyer and Cellar By Jonathan Tollins
Directed by Wendy Dann
Jan. 21 - Feb. 8
"Inspired by Barbra Streisand’s coffee table book, 'My Passion for Design,' this uproarious fictional account takes us into Babs’ basement, where she has a small street of shops housing her unique collections. In this underground museum of celebrity eccentricity, an underemployed Los Angeles actor becomes the caretaker, interacting with Barbra in moments that begin as absurdly hilarious and venture into surprisingly tender. A runaway hit in New York, this one-man show takes us into the ultimate fantasy as a star-struck dreamer fills the oddest of odd jobs."
