According to the Hollywood Reporter, Parker (for colored girls…) will join the cast of "The Deep End" as a litigator at a Los Angeles law firm. Meanwhile, Washington, who has appeared in Mamma Mia! and the 2004 revival of La Cage aux Folles, will be part of the cast of the new comedy "100 Questions." Washington is set to portray a dating counselor for actress Sophie Winkleman, who stars as a young woman searching for love online.
Parker and Washington are new cast members in each series, which have recast their respective roles since the initial pilot episodes. "The Deep End" will premiere on ABC television, with "100 Questions" announced as an NBC title.
