Stage Repertory Theatre of Houston will bring playwright Nicky Silver's particular brand of lunacy to Texas when it opens the Southwest premiere of Fit to Be Tied on June 5 for a run through June 28.

Michael Scheman will direct Silver's talk of the neurotic Arloc, who falls in love with and then kidnaps an angel in the Radio City Music Hall's Christmas Spectacular. When his equally neurotic, oversexed mother Nessa arrives, a bizarre love triangle ignites.

Dominique Gerard will play Arloc, Deborah Hope is Nessa, and Hal Core plays the Angel, Boyd. The cast also features Jim Huston as Nessa's husband, Carl. The scenic design is by Kevin Rigdon; costumes by Matthew Bartkowiak; lighting by Kirk Markely; and sound by Douglas Robertson.

Silver's other plays include The Food Chain and Raised in Captivity. For information, call (713) 527-0220.
