News Stage Stars Will Warble in Roundabout's Broadway Karaoke Benefit The education programs of Roundabout Theatre Company will benefit from a starry show called Broadway Karaoke May 5 at the nightspot Arena in Manhattan.

"Come see some of Broadway’s hottest performers — uncensored and unrehearsed like you've never seen them before," Roundabout teases. "The evening begins with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in midtown's hottest nightclub, Arena. Next, Seth Rudetsky hosts incredible off-the-cuff performances by some of the brightest stars on Broadway! Finally, the audience can get into the act with an hour of open mic karaoke!" Performers expected to participate include Nellie McKay (The Threepenny Opera), Sarah Steele (Speech & Debate), Susan Blackwell (Speech & Debate, [title of show]), Lea Michele (Spring Awakening), Alison Horowitz (Sunday in the Park with George), Telly Leung (Rent, Pacific Overtures) and Jennifer Powers (Grease) with more performers to be announced.

Broadway Karaoke will begin at 6 PM with an open bar and hors d'oeuvres. The Broadway Karaoke performances kick off at 7 PM followed by open mic at 8 PM. The event concludes at 9 PM.

Arena is located at 135 West 41st Street.

Tickets are $200 and are available by calling Roundabout Ticket Services at (212)719-1300 or online at www.roundabouttheatre.org.

VIP tickets are $500 and include exclusive access to the celebrity VIP Room and VIP seating area, as well as an open, private bar with specialty drinks created by a cocktail mixologist. VIP tickets must be purchased by calling Roundabout Ticket Services at (212) 719-1300.

All proceeds will go to the education programs of the not-for-profit Roundabout Theatre Company.
