What show recently impressed you?
I haven't been able to see too much recently, but I was lucky enough to catch One Man, Two Guvnors, and I have not laughed that hard at the theatre in a very long time. James Corden is one of the greatest stage performers I have ever seen, and he was supported by an absolutely wonderful cast of characters. Run to see this show!
What production are you most excited to see?
I cannot wait to see Once and support one of my favorite people and choreographers, Steven Hoggett! I loved the film, and the music is absolutely beautiful. I hear the show is breathtaking, so I'm excited to be swept away!
What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
I would love to play Billy in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Such a great and heartbreaking story, and I immediately wanted to play that role the second I knew about the show.
What are your current/upcoming projects?
In addition to starring in the upcoming NYMF production of Stand Tall, a family-friendly rock musical adaptation of the class David & Goliath story, I have been keeping busy with readings and things like that. I also am playing/writing a lot of music with different people. I'm currently the drummer for Declan Bennett and also the drummer for a trio with John Gallagher Jr. and Michael Esper (all friends from American Idiot). I'm also writing and playing music with Jesse Swenson, who I did Spring Awakening with, and we are working on putting a full band together, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for that one!
