Here, via email, we hear from Broadway singing actor Brent Barrett, who will be part of Guys Sing Dolls — A Feminine Toast with a Twist of Testosterone, which celebrates female lyricists and songwriters and will be presented May 23 at 2 PM and 8 PM at Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center in Las Vegas; call (702) 749-2000 or visit TheSmithCenter.com.

What show recently impressed you?
I think Scott Ellis and Warren Carlyle have done a wonderful job with On the Twentieth Century. Kristin [Chenoweth] was born to play that role and is brilliant!

What production are you most excited to see?
I've heard so much about Hamilton that I can't wait to see it.

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
I played Arthur in Camelot several years ago at Paper Mill Playhouse and would love to do it again.

What are your current/upcoming projects?
In addition to Guys Sing Dolls at the Smith Center in Vegas on May 23rd, I'm finishing the current tour of Chicago. I'm doing a production of Guys and Dolls in the theater outside of Boston in June, then going to Germany to do a reading of the new musical. The Broadway Tenors have concerts scheduled in the fall and through next year.
