What show recently impressed you?
Peter and the Starcatcher's ensemble-oriented storytelling and Rick Elice's quick-witted dialogue has recently revived my belief that theatre is a very unique experience. I was blown away by Christian Borle's characterization of his role as Black Stache and Roger Rees' direction of the play. A truly enjoyable experience.

What production are you most excited to see?
I'm most excited to see Once because the word of mouth from my most theatre savvy friends has come back as nothing short of raves for the show.

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
I have been waiting for a revival of Camelot to play Lancelot, but if it doesn't happen soon, I'll have to play the role of Arthur. I toured with a streamlined version of the show starring Lou Diamond Phillips, and have always loved the themes and lines in the show, such as when Pellinore says: Who is that, Arthur? ARTHUR: One of what we all are, Pelly. Less than a drop in the great blue motion of the sunlit sea. But it seems some of the drops sparkle, Pelly. Some of them do sparkle! Run, boy! Run! That once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment that was known as Camelot.

What are your current/upcoming projects?
I am currently in Jersey Boys on Broadway playing Nick Massi, the bass player of the Four Seasons. I also have had a new CD in the works to be released soon called "Sky Above Manhattan," featuring music by Michael John LaChiusa, Ricky Ian Gordon, Todd Almond, Mike Reid & Sarah Schlesinger and many more.

*** Matt Bogart has appeared on Broadway in Jersey Boys, Aida, The Civil War, Smokey Joe's Cafe and Miss Saigon. Read more about him in the Playbill Vault.
