What show recently impressed you?
There are a couple of shows that have recently impressed me: The Light in the Piazza — I loved the entire concept, execution, performances, score, book, just everything about it. And, Anything Goes, in an entirely different way, this production was a wonderful example of how to do a revival of a great musical.
What production are you most excited to see?
I am incredibly excited to see Prince of Broadway — Hal deserves the incredible recognition this show will offer for his body of work.
What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
There is one musical in particular that I would love to revisit — The Baker's Wife, in the role of (an aging) Dominique; we shut down just short of Broadway, and I didn't get a chance to do it the first time around!
What are your current/upcoming projects?
I am incredibly excited and proud of my upcoming concert with BC/EFA, When Everything Was Possible, A Concert (with comments) at New York City Center this April 29, with my former West Side Story co-star Victoria Mallory, new orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, musical staging by "Smash"'s Joshua Bergasse, music direction by Michael Rafter and directed by the wonderful Larry Moss. Strictly in the producer sense, our play Zero Hour, the Zero Mostel show, is on tour, Stephen Schwartz's Captain Louie is being licensed and performed around the world, and our play Capture Now is being adapted to a film. Our team for When Everything Was Possible is also in the process of creating a full book musical, In the Summer of '68, which we hope to have up by 2013. War Horse.

Once.

Into The Woods. Witch.

I am preparing to present myself as a cabaret singer/pianist.

The upcoming April 29 at 7:30 PM concert, directed by Larry Moss (West Side Story) with musical staging by Joshua Bergasse ("Smash"), will feature a 13-piece band playing new orchestrations by Tony Award winner Jonathan Tunick (Titanic).
Audiences can expect to hear songs from The Frog Prince, Aladdin, West Side Story, Dear World, Carnival, Dames at Sea, Follies, On the Town, A Little Night Music and Sondheim - A Musical Tribute.
Peterson and Mallory were also seen on stage together in Broadway's Sondheim: A Musical Tribute and the 1968 Lincoln Center revival of West Side Story.
