The special will be broadcast for one commercial-free hour on the four major networks and several cable channels, and will be seen in 195 countries worldwide. Network news anchors Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer and Brian Williams will host the special, which is raising funds to encourage faster development of innovative cancer research.

Cat Deeley of "So You Think You Can Dance" will host a special half-hour pre-show promotion on various online sites beginning at 7:30 PM ET, when the celebrity phone banks open.
