Film & TV News Star-Studded Carole King Concert, With Performance From London's Beautiful, Plays U.S. Movie Theatres The 2016 concert was filmed live in London’s Hyde Park.

Carole King’s 2016 London concert, which was attended by 65,000 fans in London's Hyde Park, is shown in U.S. movie theatres July 11.

Fathom Events and AEG Presents screen Carole King: Tapestry – Captured Live at Hyde Park London at 7 PM local time. Audiences will also enjoy an interview with King and an introduction by WCBS-FM radio host Scott Shannon.

In addition to King, whose rise to fame is the subject of the award-winning Broadway musical Beautiful, the concert also features pre-taped introductions by Tom Hanks, Elton John, Graham Nash, Lou Adler, Danny “Kootch” Kortchmar, James Taylor, David Crosby, Barry Mann, and Cynthia Weil.

Highlights include King's daughter, Louise Goffin, who joins the legendary singer-songwriter on “Where You Lead”; King, accompanied by a recording of her younger self, performing “(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman”; and “I Feel the Earth Move” with Cassidy Janson and the London cast of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. In addition to Tapestry, King performs several hits from her 60’s partnership with Gerry Goffin and her solo career, including “The Loco-Motion” and “Take Good Care of My Baby.”
