The family drama will also feature Kinky Boots Tony nominee Stark Sands as well as Meg Steedle, Emma Dumont and Jake Picking.
Jeffrey Reiner will direct a script by Elizabeth Heldens.
The series, according to Deadline, concerns "Mega-Church Pastor Daniel Strickland [who] suddenly dies [and] his loyal wife, Jennifer Strickland (Judd), must rally to keep their family together and save the church."
Sands has been cast as Paul Strickland, the oldest child and the "heir apparent to Daniel’s evangelical empire who suffers from a chronic stutter and might have played a role in his dad’s death."
