News Starry Celebrating Marvin Hamlisch Concert Plays Avery Fisher Hall; Audra McDonald Hosts One Singular Sensation: Celebrating Marvin Hamlisch, a special New Year’s Eve concert saluting the late composer-conductor, plays Avery Fisher Hall Dec. 31 at 7:30 PM.

The concert will be telecast nationally on Live From Lincoln Center with host Audra McDonald on PBS stations beginning at 8 PM ET; check local listings.

The famed orchestra is joined by Mr. Hamlisch’s friends and collaborators, including Joshua Bell, Raúl Esparza, Michael Feinstein, Maria Friedman, Josh Groban, Megan Hilty, McDonald, Kelli O’Hara, Beth Behrs, Lilla Crawford and Brian d’Arcy James.

The artists will perform repertoire from Mr. Hamlisch’s works for stage and film, including A Chorus Line and Sweet Smell of Success.

The finale, choreographed by Mitzi Hamilton, features dancers Ashley Arcement, Carleigh Bettiol, Michael Cannon, Jen Cordiner, Kevin Curtis, KC Fredericks, Julia Freyer, Jessica Lee Goldyn, Jordan Fife Hunt, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Brian Letendre, Mark Myars and Amanda Rose.

Paul Gemignani conducts, and Lonny Price directs the performance.
