The fifth annual Celebrity Doodle and Scribbles Auction will be held at the Princeton Club, 15 West 43rd Street, New York, and will feature a live auction of works by Woody Allen, Lauren Bacall, Paul Newman, Lanford Wilson, Joanne Woodward and more.

Other items up for bid include a 1963 Silver R-Type Bentley with original handbook, an original cartoon from New Yorker Magazine, a signed Pete Sampras tennis racket, tickets to Broadway shows, theater memorabilia, weekend stays at New York hotels, dinners and other merchandise and services.

Nathan Lane is honorary chair of the event. Andre Braugher of "Homicide" will host.

Proceeds go to support the Barrow Group's 1999-00 season featuring the premiere of Jeff Daniel's Thy Kingdom's Coming. The company, awarded the 1995 Drama Desk Award for Best Off-Off Broadway Theater Company, is best known for its Old Wicked Songs, a Pulitzer Prize finalist, and Lonely Planet. For tickets, call the Barrow Group at (212) 522-1421. The event begins at 6:30 PM with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction. The live auction begins at 8 PM.
