News   Stars from Wicked, Avenue Q and Fiddler Part of Broadway for a New America Concert A host of theatre favorites will be part of the Sept. 13 concert Broadway for a New America, a benefit for Grassroots Democrats.

As of press time, the concert at Avalon will feature the talents of John Tartaglia, Randy Graff, Joey MacIntyre, Michael Cerveris, Tovah Feldshuh, Robert Klein, Rob Morrow, Al Franken, Craig Unger, Avner Eisenberg, Kathleen Chalfant, Bill Irwin, Geoff Hoyle and Larry Pisoni.

The evening begins at 6:30 PM with a VIP reception, which includes hors d'oeuvres and a bar, followed by the 8 PM performance. A silent auction that features celebrity items will also be part of the one-night-only event.

Grassroots Democrats is an independent, non-profit political group "dedicated to helping Democratic state parties in battleground states acquire the resources they need to assure victory in 2004 and beyond."
