The evening, which celebrates the company's tenth anniversary, will feature new short plays written for the occasion by Stephen Belber (McReele, Tape, Match) and Keith Bunin (The Busy World Is Hushed, The Credeaux Canvas), among others, as well as a new spoken word piece created by Sekou and Steve Connell. The starry lineup currently includes Allison Janney (A View From the Bridge, "The West Wing"), Jane Kaczmarek (Lost in Yonkers, "Malcolm in the Middle"), Neil Patrick Harris (Assassins, "How I Met Your Mother,”), Steven Weber (The Producers, "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip"), Mary McCormack (Cabaret, "The West Wing"), Charlayne Woodard (In Real Life, "ER"), David Burtka (Gypsy, The Play About the Baby), Rick Cleveland (My Buddy Bill) and spoken word artists Sekou (tha misfit) and Steve Connell ("Russell Simmons' Def Poetry Jam").

Founded in 1996, the OPC is set in the Ojai countryside, a retreat-like environment away from nearby Los Angeles that provides a place where scribes work in-house on their developing plays. The intensive workshop ends with the public readings.

The show starts at 6:30 PM at the Matilija Junior High School Auditorium, 708 El Paseo Rd. in Ojai, CA.

General admission — which includes the reading, complimentary refreshments and snacks — is priced at $65 while the premium ticket — which also includes a dinner with the cast and live auction — can be purchased for $225 by calling (805) 640-0400.
