Based on the iconic 1975 documentary, the 2006 musical tells the real-life rise and fall of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’ aunt and cousin, Edith and Edie Bouvier Beale.

The cast is headed by Olivier Award-winning West End stars Sheila Hancock and Jenna Russell with Billy Boyle, Aaron Sidwell, Jeremy Legat, Ako Mitchell and Rachel Anne Rayham as well as child actors Alana Hinge, Grace Jenkins, Rebecca Nardin and Eleanor Waldron.

Thom Southerland directs the production, which has musical supervision by Simon Lee, musical direction by Michael Bradley, choreography by Lee Proud, designs by Tom Rogers, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Andrew Johnson, costume design by Jonathan Lipman and casting by producer Danielle Tarento.

Grey Gardens has a book by Doug Wright, music by Scott Frankel and lyrics by Michael Korie.

"Starting in 1941 at an engagement party at Grey Gardens, the Bouvier’s mansion in East Hampton, Long Island," the musical, according to press notes, "tracks the progression of the two women’s lives from American aristocrats to reclusive social outcasts living in such squalid conditions, in a home overrun by cats, that the Health Department deemed the mansion 'unfit for human habitation.'"

Performances continue through Feb. 6.
