Directed by David Triacca, the cast will feature Peter Carlaftes, Michelle Cox, Wesley Curtis, Ralph John (RJ) Lucci, Giovanni Rho, Julia Sun and Chris Triana.
The outrageous black comedy, according to press notes, "takes us into the world of Maggie, a shoplifter looking to change her life. Paul is her sponsor in a twelve-step program. Flaco is her charismatic but jealous drug dealing-boyfriend. Boochie, Flaco's girlfriend, is a topless dancer. When this unlikely squad gets together to steal $750,000 in unprotected drug money, they become prisoners in a mob boss' basement. Told that they have until sunrise to choose one person to die and three to donate their thumbs, the four engage in verbal gymnastics as they struggle for self-awareness and self-acceptance in a high-octane battle for survival."
The production will feature lighting and sound design by Shelly Rodriguez and set design by Jason Simms.
Stephen Adly Guirgis is also the author of Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train and Our Lady of 121st Street, among others.
