News Stephen Spinella, Harris Yulin and More Will Join Peter Sarsgaard in CSC's Hamlet Classic Stage Company has announced complete casting for its upcoming production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Previews of the tragic tale of deception and royalty will begin March 27 prior to an official opening April 15. The production will continue through May 10. Austin Pendleton will direct.

Peter Sarsgaard (Uncle Vanya, "Blue Jasmine") will star in the title role. Penelope Allen (Richard III, A Streetcar Named Desire) will play his mother Gertrude with Harris Yulin (Frank's Home, Death of a Salesman) as King Claudius.

Lisa Joyce (Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson, La Bete) will play Hamlet's love interest Ophelia, Glenn Fitzgerald (Ivanov, The Importance of Being Earnest) will play her brother Laertes, and their father, Polonius, will be played by Tony Award  winner Stephen Spinella (Angels in America, A View From the Bridge).

Austin Jones (Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, "Boardwalk Empire") will play Hamlet's friend Horatio. Jim Broaddus (Saint Joan, Tartuffe) will play Player King/others, Scott Parkinson (The Coast of Utopia, Our Town) will play Rosencrantz/others and Daniel Morgan Shelley (Othello, King Lear) will be Guildenstern/others.

Scenic design for Hamlet is by Walt Spangler, costume design is by Constance Hoffman, lighting design is by Justin Townsend and original music and sound design are by Ryan Rumery.
