News Steppenwolf's Garage Presents Midwest Premiere of MacLeod's Things, May 22 The Garage, the smallest of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company's three Chicago playing spaces, will host the Midwest premiere of playwright Wendy MacLeod's Things Being What They Are, beginning May 22.

Official opening for the work, which is directed by Steppenwolf ensemble member Rick Snyder, is June 1. It runs until June 22. MacLeod is the author of The Water Children and The House of Yes. In the new work, Bill (Timothy Gregory) has moved to a new city and into a new condo, where he's waiting for his wife. In the meantime, his neighbor, Jack (Keith Kupferer), keeps his company—but, for a little too long.
